A little common sense

A little hint...do your job, do it well and yes you will get 'dag-dag'!

You guessed it, taxi drivers here are on a whole new class of their own! I laugh most of the time, but sometimes I just think...put two and two together man and use you're common sense!

One of the many excuses I've heard that really tests my patience -
  1. What will you give me because there's traffic? Hmmm let's think for a moment, Oh I'm so sorry that I physically placed the traffic in your way to make your day harder (sarcastic here if you haven't noticed).
  2. It's raining, that will be P150 - Highway robbery I say! When it only costs P70 max to get to my place - I wove a magic wand so that the heavens would open and you would find it so difficult to drive in the rain - WHILST INSIDE A CAR WHERE YOU ARE DRY AND NOT GETTING RAINED ON!
  3. Just add something, I leave it to you - it's ONE WAY - I love this one, Yes, it's my fault that the road is ONE WAY that I actually planned it this way so that you as the taxi driver actually need to navigate around - excuse me but isn't that your job?
  4. Walang dag-dag (No additional fee?) - here's another favourite - FOR WHAT? That you accepted to take me as your passenger? I'm sure as a taxi driver on the job criteria it must state that you drive customers to destination A to B!
  5. There seems to be a lot of you (ie 4 people actually) can you add P50? Huwow, there's additional fee for actually filling up your car? That's certainly new...
  6. This would be my absolute favourite - My meter isn't working at the moment that will be P250 (from Greenhills to home) - Ummm yeah dude how this for a tip, how about you actually fix it because I'm sure that's a necessity to determine the ACTUAL FEE you need to charge your customers!  This is when I actually text LFRTB (useless anyhow) and usually at this instance I say yeah Ma nigas ka engot!
Just a little hint again when you do your job well, no complaints or hidden clauses well guess what buddy you will get rewarded! That is the global term for a justified TIP!

Another thing, foreigners are nice people (generally speaking) but don't abuse the kindness.
