This is for Ods who loved my Ninang Ruby's Banana Blossom recipe. Here's another one that is 'lutong bahay' there will be others to come Ods :)
Ingredients
Serves 4 pax
500g Pork belly diced
2 cloves of garlic diced
2 chillies
1 can of coconut milk/cream
Knob of ginger thinly sliced
Lemon grass (used for flavouring)
tsp bagoong
In a medium sized saucepan heat canola oil and add garlic, ginger and pork.
Cook until pork is seared (brown) and then add coconut milk/cream, chillies and bagoong (if you don't have bagoong use fish sauce). Put to low heat and allow to cook until pork is tender (pending on how small the cut of the pork is, allow 2 hours).
When pork is tender add sitaw (or beans) and cook for another 10mins.
Serve with rice.
